One poem by John Grey


Slow Passage of Time

sweet fluted winds
blown by
the near-dark forest


steadfast live oak
presses its case
to glades of deep shadow


leaves flutter
simulate
the whisper of vows


sleepy down day
and no watch
worth looking at
