One poem by Suzanne Parlee

Little Boxes

Inside myself
Tiny puzzle pieces
Interlocking
Disassembled
In their box

Inside myself
A looking glass
Mirror images
Cutting and razor sharp
Distorted

Inside myself
A box of stars
I'm afraid to open
Just wishes
On days gone by

Inside myself
Odds and ends
Little parts
To keep and hold
Me together
